Sometimes, in the Game of Life, the odds are in your favor. You go through school and you end by getting a high paid job that has lots of benefits. As you go through Life, only good seems to happen. You get married and have kids. They are healthy. You are happy. You take vacations and build a big house. Everything seems to go your way. As you retire, you look back at Life and realize that there is nothing you would change. You are happy with how Life has been. You are happy with Life now.
Other times, the odds are not in your favor. You go through Life and nothing seems to go your way. Sometimes, it is because of mistakes you have made. Other times, it is because of situations out of your control. You do not get the high paying job which results in a rundown house. You do not get the family you want. You have medical problems with expensive bills. At times, it is tempting to give up. Life is not fair. And when you make it to retirement, you look back at Life and you are filled with regrets. You are not happy with how Life has been. You are not happy with Life now.
