Depressed Christian

Bio: I am a Christian writer with a focus on mental illness. I became a Christian in college but could not understand how God could use me despite depression. God is using me through my writing to tell people about Jesus as well as mental illness. Here are a few more things about me: •I graduated as valedictorian of my high school. •I gave the commencement speech for college graduation. •I graduated from college in 3 ½ years. •I became a born again Christian in college. •I suffer from depression and anxiety and have mild OCD. I am also a cutter and have tried to stop. •My favorite things to do are read, write, and sing. •I love animals. I have lots of pets but would like to have even more. •I worked one summer as a pool manager but eventually resigned. •I work at an amusement park during the summer. •I love Harry Potter books. •My favorite shows are Mash, House, and Big Bang Theory. •I enjoy musicals such as Phantom of the Opera and Wicked. -I have trichotillomania so I am usually missing hair from my eyebrows

  1. Kimberly, thank you for following “A Way With Words.” My joy in writing is made more complete when people read what I’ve written and even more so as they respond.

We have a great deal in common. I write mainly on faith and mental illness, though I am also known to dabble in personal reflections, stories, and even the occasional poem. If you have any requests, please contact me.

I really appreciate what you have going here on your blog and look forward to reading more in the days ahead. This week, I included you as one of my “Friday Featured Followers.” I hope you’ll check it out.

    Keep up the faithful blogging.

    Blessings in Christ,
    Tony
